See Heartbreaking Reactions of Family Members of the Deceased in Kenyan Massacre (Photos)
It was a sorry sight as family members of those slain by Al Shabab militants came forward to identify the bodies of their beloved. There was mass wailing and tears flowed freely.
The authorities drove the naked, bloated corpses of four Al Shabab militants killed during the shootout around the town in a pickup truck from the mortuary to Garissa Primary School in a show of federal defiance.
It comes as survivor Cynthia Cheroitich, 19, who spent two days hiding in a wardrobe and drinking body lotion to survive, was rescued after al-Shabaab gunmen stormed Garissa University College on Thursday.
